Longhirst has a variety of high quality sports facilities available to hotel guests. These activities can also be booked as part of a training or conferencing event. They are suitable for sports related courses, corporate events or tournaments.

Golf

Cricket

Longhirst boasts a cricket ground with a first-class standard square, which is home to Morpeth Cricket Club and which regularly hosts County and international touring teams.

Football and Hockey Pitch

This floodlit all weather pitch can be used all year round. It is suitable for eleven-a-side or five-a-side football or hockey matches.

Tennis

There are six all weather floodlit tennis courts.

Fitness Trails

A woodland trail through the grounds of the Hall is suitable for leisurely walks or jogging. Our reception team will be happy to direct you to the trails.

GYM

Our current fitness room has a range of gym equipment. This is available to all of our guests and delegates as part of their stay.

A new gym with top-of-the-range equipment is currently being developed.
